This year the 3rd Asia Pacific Symposium on Emotions in Worklife is being hosted and sponsored by Faculty of Business and Law, Newcastle Graduate School of Business, University of Newcastle, Australia. The symposium is a 2 day-long, semi-formal meeting of scholars, research students, practitioners, and organisational consultants interested in the study of emotion-related issues and will be held on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of November 2008.

The symposium will include a keynote address by Dr. Markus Groth from the Australian School of Business, University of New South Wales, Australia. The program will also feature paper presentations, incubator research workshops and roundtable sessions for the discussion of poster presentations. There is no registration fee for attending the symposium, with morning tea, luncheon, and afternoon tea provided to all participants. A formal symposium dinner at the "Terminal One Restaurant" will be available (pre-booking required) at an approximate cost of $45 AUD per person (including two courses and a symposium cocktail reception), which may be paid on the day of the conference. Other food outlets are available for participants not wishing to attend the symposium dinner.
