Science-Art Initiative
November-December, 2008
Together with the financial support of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology at the University of Newcastle, a group at the University of Newcastle have collaborated with the Octapod to bring you this exciting creative opportunity for scientists.
Over 4 weeks a group of artists will work with interested scientists and engineers, to develop science inspired art. The culmination of the work will be a combination of public installations and art to be exhibited.

Honours & Research EXPO

The first Science and IT Honours & Research EXPO was held on Thursday 18th September, 2008. The day attracted over 500 students and staff, who came along to share how a future in research can be rewarding, exciting and help individuals make a real difference in the world.
For anyone who was unable to attend, downloads of the range of print information that was available to be collected has been made available online. This includes information about Undergraduate Summer Scholarships and Honour Scholarships, plus information about a range of potential Honours and Research Higher Degree topic areas.
