Research
The discipline has an active research program with funding from a variety of sources including NH&MRC, ARC, Cancer Council, Asthma Foundation, Community Health and Antituberculosis Association, Clive and Vera Ramaciotti Foundation and NISAD. Whilst members of the discipline belong to at least one of three major research groups (Neuroscience, Cancer Research, Experimental Pharmacology), each individual has their own research program such that our endeavours are not restricted to these fields. The discipline also plays a major role in the management of the Biomolecular Research Facility, which provides a range of core services for local researchers and outside clients.
