Music Craft Special Discount Fees - In 2008, the Conservatorium is introducing a special discount on Music Craft fees to encourage Conservatorium students to undertake this vital aspect of their music education. Students who are either a Conservatorium Scholarship recipient or who are enrolled as a Conservatorium Single Study Student (eg. piano/ saxophone lessons) are eligible for a discount in Music Craft fees.
String, brass and wind students who are under a Conservatorium Scholarship are required as part of their scholarship conditions to participate free of charge in one of the Conservatorium Ensembles (Hunter Strings, Wind Orchestra, Concert Band or Crotchets and Quavers). These Scholarship students will now be offered a five per cent discount on Music Craft lessons to encourage their allround musical education at the Conservatorium.
Piano, percussion, vocal and guitar students under a Conservatorium Scholarship will now be required to attend Music Craft classes as condition of their Scholarship. For these students, Music Craft lessons will be provided FREE of charge. Students not receiving a Conservatorium Scholarship but who are already enrolled as a Single Study Student at the Conservatorium will also be given a five per cent discount on their Music Craft tuition fees.
Any student new to the Conservatorium, who wishes to enrol as a Single Study student and attend the Music Craft classes, will also receive a five per cent discount on their Music Craft fees.
For any queries regarding fee discounts, please contact the Conservatorium office on 02 4921 8900.
Enrolment Procedures
New students should contact the Conservatorium office on 02 4921 8900 to arrange placement in a class or the allocation of a teacher for instrumental or vocal tuition.
Students are to complete and sign the 2008 Student Enrolment Form contained in this booklet and hand/ mail/fax to Conservatorium administration together with any payment for tuition.
You must complete a Conservatorium Enrolment Variation Form to add or delete programs to your enrolment subsequent to completing your Enrolment Form. The Enrolment Variation Form should also be delivered to Conservatorium administration together with any payment. Towards the end of each term, students will be mailed a Re-enrolment Confirmation Form in order for you to confirm to us that your enrolment is continuing beyond the current term. This form will indicate your current enrolment details, your personal details that we have on record and what you must pay to continue your enrolment in the following term. The Conservatorium asks that you make any amendments necessary to this form and return it, together with your payment for the next term, to the Cashier.
