We provide excellent facilities for research higher degree students, including office space, computers, and access to research-dedicated laboratories.
In addition, we have a grant scheme to support research by students in all of our graduate programs and give preference to graduate students in allocating casual teaching, both as a means of income support and professional development in teaching. Our 4th year and postgraduate students present their research at annual conferences designed to provide training in making research presentations in a supportive environment. Scholarships for PhD students are available through the University and can also be supported by research grant funds. We encourage prospective PhD students to use the contacts listed above to explore potential funding arrangements.
