Proceeds of Sale

1. When items of equipment are advertised for sale by the tender, proceeds of the sale of assets and/or attractive items will be credited to the equipment account number of the initiating department, except where the proceeds are in excess of $5000 per item, in which case the allocation of the proceeds will be referred to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor.

2. Where the equipment was purchased from funds provided by the Research Management Committee, the proceeds of the sale of such equipment will revert to the Research Management Committee for re-allocation.
