2007 Careers and Employer Expo Lunch

A separate Health Expo will be held in July/August.

The Careers Service would like to invite all interested academics to attend the Careers and Employer Expo Lunch on Monday 2 April 2007. This is an informal event which will be used to link the two Expo sessions being held that day.

Over 100 organisations have booked to attend this year’s Careers Expo and many of the attending representatives have reserved a space at our Expo Lunch.

Employers are keen to meet with staff of the University of Newcastle to gain a better understanding of our academic programs and make connections within the faculties that are relevant to their recruitment strategies.

Due to an overwhelming demand for places at the lunch, we have divided this into two sessions:

1 pm – 2 pm: Staff and Employers for students of Business, Information Technology, Humanities and Law.

2 pm – 3 pm: Staff and Employers for students of Design, Engineering and Science.

Lunch will be held in the Purdue Room of the Great Hall.
