HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited started operations on 2 April 2007 as a wholly-foreign-owned bank solely owned by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. With its headquarters based in Shanghai, HSBC China incorporated the previous mainland China offices of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited
The key objective of the China Banker Development Programme (BDP) is to develop future banking specialists and leaders through practical experience and management skills training. The 18-month programme includes classroom and on-the-job training and attachments to various core functional businesses in mainland China as well as other cities and territories. The BDP family includes the following 5 specific programmes: - Personal Financial Services - Corporate & Institutional Banking - Commercial Banking - Transactional Banking - Operations To successfully build a solid banking career with HSBC, we encourage all of our trainees to develop their managerial and technical skills as well as proactively contribute to the business through actual job assignments. High-performing trainees will be nominated to attend a demanding but highly rewarding classroom-training programme in the HSBC Group Training Centre in the UK.
Job Requirements :We welcome all final year bachelor's and master's degree students in any discipline and with proficiency in Mandarin and English. Applicants with two to three years' working experience will also be considered
