* Trade the world's markets
* Cutting edge technology
* Lucrative earnings potential
If pace, adrenaline, training, challenges, rewards and the support of smart people are what motivate you, make the move to Optiver.
We are the largest independent arbitrage firm in the Asia Pacific region, with a product range that spans five continents and 20 countries. Last year, we employed between 50 and 100 graduates globally. In the next five years, we’re aiming for a trading presence in every listed product on every exchange in the world. This is your chance to be part of our success.
If you are a graduate and would like to work in Sydney, Chicago or Amsterdam, this could be the ideal role for you. Salary levels are lucrative and there is no cap on earning potential.
In return, you must be prepared to give 100 during trading hours. Rapid reactions, analytical abilities, communication skills, initiative and decision-making flair are also essential.
Ideally, you are a recent graduate with outstanding numerical skills, a passion for finance and the markets, and a competitive edge.
As a proprietary trading house, we have no clients which means we don’t expect you to wear a suit. Instead, we offer an informal work environment, time for a personal life, a comparatively flat structure, well-considered incentives, and the opportunity to contribute ideas from day one.
We are currently recruiting Graduate Derivatives Traders to commence throughout 2008 and 2009.
Australian Permanent Residents only.
ALL APPLICATIONS NEED TO HAVE AN OFFICIAL ACADEMIC RECORD ATTACHED ALONG WITH A RESUME AND COVERING LETTER.
Only applications emailed to the following address will be accepted: careers@optiver.com.au
Closing Date: 12th December 2008
