The opportunity has arisen for a committed, enthusiastic and highly versatile professional to join Xstrata Coal NSW as a Graduate Geologist. This career opportunity would be ideally suited to a recent Graduate or students completing studies towards a degree in this field in 2008 with some proven experience or professional interest in progressing their career with a global coal mining company.

 

You will be looking to develop your current skills and/or experience base, and will have a practical and systematic approach to applying your skills to improve the performance of our mining operations. You will possess a strong focus on working safely; well developed interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a team environment.
