To react effectively to changing market conditions and opportunities, we have invested heavily in IT, developing sophisticated in-house trading models and applications that take advantage of arbitrage opportunities. Our IT people are also given access to a multitude of training programs, both internal and external, and are provided a thorough understanding of the dynamics of derivative pricing and market fundamentals. Along with their existing IT knowledge, this combination is a powerful one.

 

You will be responsible for various trading applications with a technical and business focus. This role involves technical troubleshooting, managing application performance and liaising with the end-user regarding requests.

 

The role requires more than just technical skills, as maintaining and writing documentation pertaining to incident investigation and resolution will also be critical to your success.

 

Job Requirements: To apply for this role you will need to:

 

- be a final-year student or recent graduate with a high credit average     Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar

- have a proactive and customer-focused attitude

- possess a good understanding of Internet Protocol

- have outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- have a passion to work in an ever-changing environment with numerous challenges

- be a team player, enthusiastic and motivated

 

Some experience in Shell scripting, such as Bash/Perl, would be highly regarded but is not essential.
