Looking for flexible casual or part-time employment?

Newcastle Taxis will be on campus for two information session on Callaghan Campus. There is currently a demand for taxi drivers in the Newcastle area. Representatives from Newcastle Taxis will present information about:

becoming a taxi driver – selection criteria
costs and training requirements
what the job entails
safety and support for drivers
pay and benefits

There will be time to answer questions you might have during this session.

Basic eligibility:

all students who have permission to work in Australia
for local students, must have held a NSW driver’s licence for at least 12 months (provisional licences are not accepted)
international students must have transferred an international driver’s licence to a NSW driver’s licence and have held it for at least 12 months
