Brenda Clouten Memorial Travelling Scholarship for a Young Achiever in the Visual Arts

This Scholarship was established in 2005 to support a young achiever in the Visual Arts (25 years or under) who is a student at a tertiary education institution in the Lower Hunter (including Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens, Cessnock and Singleton. The scholarship is intended to assist students in the aim of undertaking a program of professional development in an international context of their liking.

 

The scholarship is a way of creating a lasting memorial for Brenda Clouten (1939 - 1999) who was a Maitland resident known throughout her life for her interest in and passion for the arts.

 

This scholarship is supported by Maitland Regional Art Gallery.
