This course is run at the Callaghan campus in Newcastle at various times of the year. It usually runs over 5 weeks. Each session is of 50 minutes duration.
Participants are offered the opportunity to develop skills in the practice of mindful awareness. The course covers the mindfulness framework for maintaining health and well being and the benefits of meditation for managing stress by learning to cultivate deep relaxation.
These mindfulness skills will be of benefit in study and exam performance.
