Australian Red Cross Blood Service 2008 Donormobile visits to Newcastle University
The Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) will be visiting the Newcastle University again soon, providing students and staff with the opportunity to donate blood conveniently and save lives.
Australia needs you four times a year therefore the donormobile visits the University on a regular basis to offer students and staff this great convenient opportunity.
"Australia needs 21,000 donors each week just to meet the everyday medical and surgery needs in Australia’ s hospitals," the NSW Operations Manager, Garry Wolfe, said.
The ARCBS would like to encourage anyone who is feeling well to make an appointment to donate and help us collect the many lifesaving donations needed for our local hospitals.
"Whether you’re a regular donor, or have never even given blood before, this is your chance to really make a difference to someone’s life. Each time you give blood, you help save up to three lives."
To make an appointment to give blood at the upcoming University visit or find out more information about other locations, dates and times, call 13 14 95 or visit
