
January/February 2007- Stage 2 of the Lectopia rollout project was finalised for Semester 1 teaching. A further 22 venues were made Lectopia capable at City (3), Callaghan (15) and Ourimbah (4) campuses.
June/July 2006 - After the success of the 2005 pilot project, a 2 stage project to increase the number of venues on both Callaghan and Ourimbah campuses began. Stage 1 of the project saw the installation and commissioning of 15 extra venues at Callaghan (12) and Ourimbah (3) in time for Semester 2 teaching.
October - 2005 - Other Australian University institutions currently using Lectopia include Murdoch, Melbourne, Macquarie, UNSW, Deakin, Curtin, Wollongong, Tasmania and Duke University in the US state of North Carolina. Trials are being conducted with the University of Auckland, and the system was used in an Apple sponsored exercise to record keynote sessions at the 2005 Educause Australasion conference held in Auckland this year.
July to December 2005 - The University of Newcastle conducted a pilot project of Lectopia (formerly iLecture) in 5 venues on Callaghan campus. By the end of the pilot a total of 108 recordings had been made which attracted 1078 hits by students and staff.
