Curriculum Resources and Media Collection

What is the CRMC?

The CRMC is the Curriculum Resources and Media Collection housed within Huxley Library.

The CRMC contains curriculum resources and audio visual materials; specifically, kits, DVDs, videos, cassettes, CDs, pictures, art prints, CD-ROMs and computer software. These materials are used as aids for teaching K-12, as well as supporting other subject areas, eg. nursing, design and photography.

All material is shelved in call number order with separate collection areas for DVDs and videos, cassettes and CDs, pictures etc.

Who can borrow from the CRMC?

Any students and staff of the University of Newcastle can borrow from the CRMC.

Graduates of the University of Newcastle, Community borrowers and patrons with reciprocal borrowing rights can also borrow material from this area. However, there are restrictions on certain materials, length of borrowing time and renewals.

Staff will assist you with any queries on borrowing or renewal of material.

Hours of Opening

The CRMC area operates within the same opening hours as Huxley Library. Assistance is available from the main Loans desk.
