During semester breaks we will respond 9am to 5pm Monday to Fridays only.
University of Newcastle staff and students can SMS short reference queries, opening hours and general queries. The library will respond by SMS. If our reply is over 160 characters you will receive two SMS messages.

Delivery Issues
Please be aware that some SMS messages can be delayed or even fail due to problems with the connections between different telephone carriers.
SMS charges
Standard SMS charges apply at the normal rate for your provider when you SMS us. There is no additional charge from our service provider for sending the SMS message, or for receiving a reply from us.
