The Makaton Vocabulary by Aileen Ryan, Ella Keesing, Judith Cowley is located at the C Coast campus and the Renwick campus. This book is required by Teaching students and in particular Speech Pathology students. The Speech Pathology program is only offered at the Callaghan and primarily studied on the Shortland side of campus. Can a new book be ordered for the Auchmuty Library?

A copy of "Makaton Vocabulary" will be ordered for the Auchmuty Library

Hi the new NEWCAT website is excellent. I like that you can browse online fulltext journals by name and by typing in the start of the name of the journal!!

I was wondering if a book which has come into the library was purchased due to the recommendation I submitted. The book is 'Against Civilization: Critical reflections and essays - John Zerzan'. My suggestion is that maybe it would be a good idea to let people know the status of their recommendations; if the book has been acquired it might also be nice to receive a quick thankyou note from the library.

Being an interested reader of the "Responses to Feedback" section of your site and having a long and productive relationship with the Library and its services over many years I was intrigued to find the tirade from the frustrated user of the microfilm readers beginning the Library's new academic year. The user implies that the Library's alleged tardiness in organising maintenance is a consequence of a belief that these readers represent old and outdated technology. He or she may have a point. However, the lengthy diatribe inflicted on the Library Feedback site by this user suggests that he or she should spend less time at the microfilm readers and more time getting out !

I am still overseas and can not renew from here or return while away. please renew by 'over riding'

We do prefer that books are returned before going overseas so our other students are not disadvantaged by not having access to the material.
I have renewed the book for this time only.

there used to be a link from the newcat homepage to the list of databases which is not there anymore. it was very useful can we have it back please
