The Get It facility has stopped working yesterday and today. Can you fix it please?

Get-It will be back in operation Wednesday 2nd July.

Dear Librarians

I write to suggest you subscribe to RealTime Arts Magazine. It's a fantastic Australian initiative promoting and nurturing cutting-edge hybrid-arts in Australia and internationally.

You may access their site at http://www.realtimearts.net

I understand that library budgets do not always stretch far, and that often suggestions (and funds) for purchases must come from other university departments. Who else could I suggest subscription to? Perhaps the heads of drama, music and art departments?

Thanks for any feedback,

Thank you for the suggestion.

A recommendation will be made to place a Subscription.

Hi, I've just checked my 'patron record' and found this under my name.

'EXP DATE:31-03-2009'

I'm confused somewhat.  The only thing I can think of is that I've ordered a swipe card for Night Byte and this has an expiry date. Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi, the date refers to the Library circulation system and your currency as a Library user.

Each March the system automatically updates and automatically renews ongoing users and drops off any users who are not continuing to use Library Services.

Hi, have not been able to renew books, since ~10:30 pm Saturday night-get message: "Your record is in use by system. Please try again later." But when I tried again after several pre-midnight attemps- I still cannot renew, but I have now incurred fines. Surely the system should recognise the renewal. On top of this the library is not open on Sunday(today) so the fines will continue to accumulate. I do not consider this process very fair. Could you please look into some form of redress.
Kind regards

It sounds like you were trying to renew you Library books during a system back up, please complete a fine waive form at the loans desk to have your fines waived.
We apologise for the inconvenience.
