The library catalogue indicates there is online access to the Environmental and Planning Law journal. However, access is limited to articles published after January 2001. Please amend the library catalogue to reflect the actual holdings held by the library.

The holdings statement has now been amended to reflect the status of holdings currently available.

Woudlnt you think that the Library Home page would have a clearly displayed link to the Library Login? I would have thought so but alas I have been scouring the page and pushing drop downs to find for 20 minutes without sucess. Even searching "Login" doesnt take me there.

The Library home page as a MyLibrary button on the top right hand side which takes you to the MyLibrary login page. On the NEWCAT pages there is a link to MyLibrary in the top navigation bar on every page.

Down-time for MyLibrary was considerably longer than advertised. System was down earlier than quoted and still out five hours later!! It makes it very hard to renew on line when you have other commitments. We have been experiencing system problems, we do apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

The problem is being rectified to avoid it happening again.

In the law library there are 4 old wooden tables placed together. They are open tables and are most conducive to talking. Indeed, I suspect because of their openness, students imply talking is permitted in these areas. When people are talking in the law library, even softly, it makes concentrating impossible. The signs around the law library designating it as a quite zone are for one reason or another not respected. Perhaps the signs could be more prominent in two respects; one, they could be placed (by some permanent means) on the tables and the current 'quiet study area' signs could be replaced with something which catches the eye.

Work is currently underway locating more study carrels for this area of the library and signs have been placed on the large tables to ensure people are aware it is not a discussion area, in case they hadn't noticed those on the walls. You can anonymously inform the staff at the Biomedicine & Law Information Desk if people are having conversations in the quiet zone.

I need to use FoodWorks Professional for my assignment. Apparantly the program subscription has expired. Is the University going to renew it?

Foodworks is only available from the Huxley Library Labs,it is a software program, and is not supported by the Library. I'd suggest you talk to your lecturer about this program..
