Welcome to NUSTAR, the University's Student Administration System

The NUSTAR system (Newcastle University Student Administration Records) became available in Semester 2, 2001. It is the name given by The University of Newcastle to its version of the Oracle PeopleSoft Student Administration product. Further information and documentation relating to NUSTAR can be accessed via the links to the left.


NUSTAR is managed by the Student Systems team which is located on Level 4 of the Student Services Centre, Callaghan Campus. Staff in this area handle problems and issues associated with the PeopleSoft login and NUSTAR system. Users can e-mail nustar@newcastle.edu.au for assistance.

For workstation, network and other computer related issues, you should contact your local IT support staff. You can also contact the IT Service Desk for assistance. 

NUSTAR Upgrade

In October 2007, an upgraded version of NUSTAR will be rolled out across the University.
