Rehabilitation Assistance

If the injury or illness results in seven (7) or more days absence, or the worker is unable to perform their normal duties or hours of work, then the University’s Return to Work Coordinator will be informed so that a return to work plan is developed to assist the injured/ill worker to return to their normal duties and hours of work.

The University’s Return to Work Coordinator may feel it is in the best interest of all parties to appoint an external Rehabilitation Provider. The Return to Work Coordinator can select a provider that best suits the needs of the injured/ill worker, however, the injured/ill worker may choose their own provider.
