Student parking permits are available from the Student Hubs.
To purchase a student parking permit, you need to take your current student card to the Student Enquiry counter at one of the Student Hubs.
When you collect your permit, a charge will be raised against your student account and an email invoice advice will be sent to your student email address. This invoice can be paid using BPay, at any Post Office or to the University Cashier located on the third floor of the Student Services Centre. This payment information is available online at the University's eBilling site.
By purchasing a Student parking permit you agree to abide by the University Traffic and Parking Rules and the University Motor Vehicles Entry Fee Policy.
Half Yearly or Annual Permit
This permit allows access for motor vehicles to General Parking Areas. The permit is made of a special electrostatic plastic that allows for transfer between vehicles.
The annual permit is valid from 1 January to 31 December in the year of issue.
Cost: $128
First Semester Half Yearly Permit
Valid from 1 January to 30 June
Cost: $64 per Semester
Second Semester Permit
Permit goes on sale in mid June and is valid until 31st December in the year of issue.
Cost: $64 per Semester
Car Park 15 is free and is located near Ray Watt Oval on the Eastern side of Callaghan campus. For location, please refer to the online campus map.
Motorcycle parking on Callaghan, Central Coast and Newcastle City Precinct campuses is free and no permit is required. Motorcycles must be parked in a designated motorcycle parking bay only.
