Emergency Phone Locations

The University prides itself on safety and has placed a number of Emergency telephones around campus for your convenience. If you feel unsafe we urge you to call Security Staff using one of these telephones.

 

Western Campus Locations
McMullin southern entry - near Security Office
Auchmuty Library courtyard area near northern steps
Top of western entrance drive, near directory board
Architecture Building, western wall
Bus shelter at Mathematics Building, south side
Aviation
   
 

Eastern Campus Locations
Hunter Building - main entry
Directory board at Eastern entrance
Corner of Ring-Road and Auchmuty Road
Turning bay at end of Railway Road
Bus shelter at Design Building (south side)
   
 

Residential Locations
Edwards Hall - main entry
Barahineban - pole in carpark
   
 

Newcastle City Precinct Locations
University House - Auckland Street entrance
Conservatorium of Music - front foyer
   

Emergency phones are housed within blue metal casing on an outside wall or pole
