ITskills a great new suite of "learn-it-yourself" training modules which are free to access. Use it to get on top of Microsoft Office, Macromedia's design and media software, project management and all sorts of basic computer skills. ITskills has over 100 interactive online modules for the PC or Macintosh enviornments! It's a great resource to assist you in developing basic and advanced IT skills for your University work.

There are over 100 courses available:

International Computers Drivers Licence (ICDL) resources
Microsoft Office Training - Word, Exel, Access
Design & Media - Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Illustrator, Photoshop
Project Management - Microsoft Project
GroupWise (staff email)
Internet - Internet Explorer
Operating System - Windows XP Professional
Macintosh Training Courses - training courses for Mac versions of the above
Accessible Courses - text-based versions of courses designed for use with screen reader software for the visually impaired. They can be beneficial for all because they are easily accessed by modems with slower speeds.

The ITskills modules will also be available via itskills.newcastle.edu.au on the external website until the end of 2006.
