FEE-HELP Information

FEE-HELP covers Undergraduate / Postgraduate Full Fee paying tuition fees for eligible Australian citizens and holders of a permanent humanitarian visa.

Payment Options

 

If you are eligible, and have completed a Commonwealth Assistance Form (CAF) for FEE-HELP for your current program of study, you have the following payment options:

Please note payment is still required for all other charges (eg: Parking or other Miscellaneous charges).

 

There is no interest charged on your FEE-HELP debt, however a loan fee of 20% applies for undergraduate courses of study. This is administered by the ATO.


Upfront Payments

 

If you choose to pay the tuition fees, the University can only accept upfront payments up until the census date.
Up front payments or partial payments do not attract a discount from the University.

Late Payment

 

The University cannot accept up-front payments after the census date for the semester or trimester.  Payments made after the census date will be returned or refunded.  Enrolment will be cancelled for the semester or trimester unless you have provided a current CAF and valid TFN.

 

The amount shown on the Student Bill as Tuition Charges will be deferred to the ATO if you have provided a CAF and TFN, and you are eligible for FEE-HELP.

 

Commonwealth Assistance Notice (CAN)

 

The University will send you a CAN after the semester or trimester census date to confirm your enrolment, FEE-HELP liability and details of your payment and/or advise of the amount that has been deferred to the ATO.


Changing your Degree Program

 

If you change your degree(s) you must complete a new Commonwealth  Assistance Form (CAF). For example upgrading from a Graduate Certificate to a Graduate Diploma, or Graduate Diploma to a Masters requires a new CAF.


Discontinuing FEE-HELP

 

If you wish to discontinue with FEE-HELP, written notification is required prior to the census date.
