Applying for Undergraduate Entry to the University
There are a number of ways to gain entry to undergraduate programs at the University of Newcastle. You may be considered for admission on the basis of:

NSW HSC or equivalent – irrespective of age of qualification

Completed or partly completed higher education studies

TAFE qualifications – completed Certificate IV or higher

Overseas qualifications equivalent to Australian studies

Post-secondary professional qualifications including – health care practitioner qualifications, defence qualifications or commissioned officer status
