Printing facilites are available in computing laboratories across the University using the PrintCopy System. It is also used for photocopy charging in the libraries.

The PrintCopy system operates using your student card and student number to access details in a database. When logged into a lab computer, students are linked to their PrintCopy account. A student's PrintCopy account is accessed each time a print job is sent to the printer from a computing lab, and is checked to see if the account has enough credit.
1. Click on File > Print from the application. A popup window will be displayed on your computer screen. This window shows you your current balance, the total number of pages to be printed, the total cost of the requested print job and your new balance after the job has been printed.
2. Click on Yes to send the job to the printer, or No to cancel the print job. Please note that once Yes has been selected, the job will be printed and your account debited - you will not be able to cancel the print job.
3. Your print job will be available at the printer.
Remember to log out when you finish using a computer so that no one else can use your Print account
Autoloaders are installed in the CT Building, the Auchmuty, Huxley, Ourimbah and Music Libraries. These autoloaders are used to add credit to your PrintCopy account and will work with current student cards. .
Students need to swipe their student card through the loader to open their 'printing account', and then feed money into the loader. The autoloaders do not give change, but they will take notes as well as coins.
Note: The 'printing account' at Ourimbah is not linked to the Callaghan account. Students need to add credit at Ourimbah to print. Instructions on how to use the PrintCopy System are displayed near the autoloaders at Ourimbah.
A project to consolidate the two systems is underway.
There are no limits to how much print credit you can add - $5-$10 is common, but this will vary depending on how much you intend to print.
It is the user’s responsibility to manage their credit on the PrintCopy system as this is NOT REFUNDABLE. You have 30 days after your course completion date to use the credit.
