and Community Partnerships

The University of Newcastle is committed to fostering partnerships that enrich and develop our communities in mutually beneficial ways. The Office of Corporate Development and Community Partnerships works with its local, regional and national communities to build productive relationships and encourage community engagement with the University, its staff and its students.

The office has primary responsibility for:

• Alumni - a life-long relationship with our graduate community
• Business Partnerships - partnerships with business and industry to build capacity in our regions
• Community Partnerships - engaging with and for the community
• The Foundation - showing how, through a gift, donors can become part of a tradition that looks both to the origins of the University ideal, and ahead to a world enhanced by knowledge, learning and education.

Through this engagement, the University seeks to draw benefit but also build capacity within its communities and contribute to their future development, be that socially, economically, culturally, environmentally, intellectually or in the sporting sense.
